Photomesh

A photo from last summer might be on your iPhone, in a Google Drive folder from a shared trip album, or in a Dropbox backup you set up years ago. Finding it means remembering which app it landed in.

Photomesh reads all of them and presents a single gallery, so you can browse by when a photo was taken instead of by where it was stored.

• iPhone photo library — your camera roll and albums, through Apple's Photos framework.
• Google Drive — photos and videos across your folders.
• Microsoft OneDrive — including your Camera Roll backup folder.
• Dropbox — photos from any folder in your account.
• Box — your Box content, in the same unified view.

Connect only the accounts you want. Photomesh works with one, some, or all of them, and you can disconnect any account at any time.

When you connect a Google account, Photomesh asks for read-only access to your Drive. It uses that access to list your files, identify which are photos and videos, and display them in your gallery alongside everything else.

Photomesh never modifies, uploads, renames, or deletes anything in your Drive. Read-only means read-only.

What it reads: file names, folders, sizes, image dimensions, capture dates, and the contents of the photos and videos you open or download.

Where it goes: nowhere. Your Drive content is read directly onto your iPhone and stays there. Photomesh has no server of its own, and the contents of your Drive files are never sent to us or to anyone else.

Disconnecting a Google account in Photomesh removes its photos from your gallery and deletes the cached data from your device. You can also revoke access at any time from your Google account permissions page.

Photomesh's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

No servers of our own. Photomesh talks to Apple's Photos framework and to your cloud providers directly from your iPhone. We run no backend that receives your photos, so there is no copy for us to hold, lose, or hand over.

Read-only everywhere. Photomesh requests read access to your cloud accounts and nothing more. It cannot alter what is in them.

Never sold, never trained on. The contents of your photos and the files Photomesh reads from your cloud accounts are never sold, never used for advertising, and never used to develop or train AI or machine-learning models.

Yours to revoke. Disconnect any account at any time. Its photos leave the gallery and its cached data is deleted from your device.

Does Photomesh change anything in my cloud accounts?

No. Photomesh requests read-only access to every provider it connects to. It cannot create, rename, move, or delete your files, and it never writes to your accounts.

Are my photos uploaded to your servers?

No. Photomesh has no servers. Your photos move directly between your cloud provider and your iPhone, and the gallery is assembled on your device.

Why does Photomesh need access to all my Drive files?

Photomesh builds a single gallery sorted by capture date, so it has to see every photo in an account to know where each one belongs in the timeline. Google Drive offers no way to ask for photos only, and no way to sort by capture date on the server, so the app reads your file list and does that work on your device. It requests the narrowest scope that allows this: read-only, with no ability to write.

How do I disconnect an account?

Open Photomesh, go to Sources, and disconnect the account. Its photos leave your gallery and its cached data is deleted from your device. You can also revoke access from your Google, Microsoft, Dropbox, or Box account settings.
